China Airlines has ordered two additional Boeing 747-400 Freighters, increasing the airline's total orders for the model to 21 airplanes. China Airlines has placed more orders for 747-400 Freighters than any other carrier.

The new airplanes are scheduled for delivery in 2006 and, like the one pictured, will be powered by General Electric CF6-80C turbofans.
