Boeing-Built Communications Satellite Ready for Liftoff

The Superbird-6 spacecraft undergoes testing at Boeing Satellite Systems (BSS) prior to shipment to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida for a planned April 15 launch. BSS built the Boeing 601 satellite for Space Communication Corporation of Japan. Superbird-6 will provide business telecommunication services for Japan and the Pacific Region.
