First Boeing 777-300ER Features Air France Colors

The first Boeing 777-300ER (extended range) jetliner for Air France leaves the Boeing [NYSE: BA] paint hangar near Seattle, Wash. The airplane, leased from International Lease Finance Corporation, will join the Air France fleet in April. The 777-300ER is the newest commercial airplane model designed and built by Boeing. Air France will be the first airline to operate the new extended-range model. The 777-300ER will fly 2,315 nautical miles (4287 kilometers) farther than the Boeing 777-200, allowing new city pairs, greater flexibility in route planning and greater point-to-point travel, which is preferred by passengers worldwide. The 777-300ER will also unveil Air France's new in-flight products: l'Espace Premiére First Class, redesigned as the pinnacle of luxury, and the enhanced l'Espace Affaires Business Class, which offers optimum passenger comfort.
