Software by Boeing's SBS International to Enhance Aeromexico's Flight-Crew Tracking, Management

Aeromexico has selected MaestroCrew from SBS International, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company [NYSE: BA], for its next-generation real-time flight-crew tracking and management system.

MaestroCrew will help Mexico's largest airline use its crew resources more effectively and efficiently.

MaestroCrew is a key module of SBS International's Maestro Suite of crew scheduling and management products. Aeromexico for many years has used SBS products to manage its daily crew operations.

"The new MaestroCrew software, with its integrated Rule Talk and Report Writer, adds user-friendly decision support capabilities that align with our information technology strategy," said Jose Luis Dominguez, Aeromexico Production Planning vice president. "We are confident in SBS International's new products and renewed service support."

MaestroCrew includes a fully integrated report writer and a user-friendly graphical interface.

"The software's automated alert system can help airlines avoid rule violation penalties, saving them money and time," said Martin Wax, president of SBS International.

MaestroCrew is one part of SBS International's crew management suite. The others are MaestroLines and eMaestro. In addition, SBS is working to expand its integrated product suite this year with a fleet scheduling and schedule-recovery application.
