Boeing's Prague Office to Relocate to Aero Vodochody

The Boeing Company's Prague office operations will transition to the site of Aero Vodochody, the largest manufacturer of military trainers and attack aircraft in the Czech Republic, on June 30.

In conjunction with this relocation, Earl Godby, general director of Boeing Aerospace Ltd. in the Czech Republic and executive director of Boeing Ceska, will relocate to the Aero site. Godby will help lead Aero Vodochody's marketing and sales activities, as well as public, customer and government relations.

"This move is part of a continuing process to enhance Boeing's support of Aero Vodochody's marketing efforts and further demonstrates our commitment to the success of Aero Vodochody," said Gene Cunningham, general manager of International Business Development in Europe for Boeing Military Aircraft and Missile Systems.

Boeing opened its office in Prague in August 1997. Boeing Ceska, a joint venture that is 90 percent owned by Boeing and 10 percent owned by CSA Czech Airlines, is a 35 percent stakeholder in Aero Vodochody.
