The Boeing Company To Host The First Invitational Construction Remediation Small Business Forum

In conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Small Business Administration and Advanced, Inc. (a small disadvantaged business non-profit organization), Boeing is hosting "The First Invitational Construction Remediation" Small Business Outreach Forum on Thursday, December 9, 1999, at 7:30 a.m. The theme is Partnering for the Future. The event, which is being coordinated by Boeing Rocketdyne Propulsion & Power site, will be held at the Space & Communications Group headquarters in Seal Beach, California, led by Jim Albaugh, President.

Mr. Derrick B. Watchman, Special Assistant U.S. Secretary of Energy, Office of Economic Impact and Diversity from Washington, D.C., will be the keynote speaker. There will be approximately 150 participants in attendance, including 35 small and minority businesses displaying their capabilities to Boeing procurement Program Managers, Engineers, and buyers. There will be three informational workshops offered: 1) SDB Certification; 2) Doing Business on the Hill; and 3) How to Get on the Procurement Source List.
