Boeing to Use Internet for Quarterly Financial Presentations

The Boeing Company announced it will hold its third-quarter financial earnings presentations and discussions with financial analysts live on the worldwide Internet.

"We are taking advantage of today's technology to broaden the opportunity for people around the world to learn first-hand about our financial performance," said Judith Muhlberg, Boeing's vice president of Communications. "We believe these sessions will be of interest to shareholders and potential investors, as well as security analysts and the news media."

The first audio broadcast, covering the company's third-quarter financial results, is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. PDT (10:00 a.m. EDT) on Thursday, Oct. 14. The Internet address is www.boeing.com. The broadcast will include a financial presentation with charts and comments from Phil Condit, chairman and chief executive officer; Debby Hopkins, chief financial officer; and Walt Skowronski, vice president and treasurer, as well as the question and answer session with security analysts.

Individuals planning to listen to the analyst session should check the web site prior to the analyst session to ensure they have the correct downloadable software to listen to the broadcast. The audio broadcast and presentation charts will be archived on the Boeing web site for future listening on demand.
