First Ryanair Next-Generation 737-800 Takes Flight

Ryanair, Europe's largest low-fare airline, with more than 1,100 employees in London (Stansted) and Dublin, recently took delivery of the first of 25 Boeing Next-Generation 737-800s ordered in March 1998. The five new 737-800s Ryanair will receive in 1999 will be used to develop new routes. Ryanair is the second-largest international airline with scheduled flights to and from the U.K. Ryanair serves destinations in Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, France and Germany.
