SAS Unveils its New Livery On First Boeing 737-600

Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) unveiled its fleet-wide new livery painted on its first Boeing 737-600. A blue colored tail, red engines, and a redesigned corporate logo and signature highlight the airline's new corporate identity program. In 1995, SAS became the launch customer for the Next-Generation 737-600 twinjet when it placed its largest order ever for 41 airplanes, with an option for an additional 35. SAS plans to fly the new airplane on major European routes. The 737-600 is scheduled to be delivered next month pending Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) type certification approval.
